Be kind

Being conscious about how to contribute to the world can be difficult in our fast-paced, multi-tasking, over-scheduled lives. MLK day is always a reminder to me to spend a day in service of others, the planet and volunteer. We’ve made a tradition of helping out the Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust to plant trees. This is a really fun, dirty, family activity at a nursery near Lake Sammamish State Park. When we are done volunteering, we play in the park, have a picnic and then explore and splash in puddles! Oh how we love puddles :) If you’re looking for a volunteer activity, we invite you to join us. Planting…picnic…park…puddles!

January 20th from 10am to 12pm

Bring lunch, gloves and wear rainboots for puddle stomping
